1. What the app is

Lucciola is an app for a healthier relationship with your phone (digital detox) built around growing a virtual tree with the firefly Lucciola. It is meant for fun and motivation – it is not a medical or therapeutic service and does not replace professional help.

2. Account and data

You can use the app without registration (progress is stored on your device). You can optionally register for future progress backup (see the Privacy Policy).

3. Virtual currency and purchases

• The app contains a virtual currency ("seeds") and virtual items. They have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for money or transferred outside the app.
• The app is free with ads; an optional Plus subscription is available.
• Optional purchases are made through the App Store / Google Play and are governed by their terms. Refunds and complaints are handled by the respective store.
• Availability and prices of virtual items and the subscription may change.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the app, reverse-engineer it to bypass purchases, or disrupt its operation.

5. Limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the app.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; the current version is available in the app and on this page.
